Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
Butchering experience required; scratch kitchen experience preferred
Passion for culinary excellence and a team-driven kitchen culture
Strong leadership and communication skills
Calm, organized, and composed under pressure
Professional appearance and dependable work ethic

Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead and motivate all back-of-house team members, overseeing operations and food production
Train and mentor kitchen leaders and staff to uphold quality and consistency
Oversee butchering, portion control, and ensure daily execution of quality recipes
Maintain high standards for kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance
Interview, hire, and develop team members to achieve staffing goals
Manage ordering of produce, seafood, and other supplies
Conduct accurate bi-weekly inventory counts
Collaborate with management to consistently deliver an outstanding guest experience
