Occupational Therapist Requirements & Qualifications

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with a valid Massachusetts OT license
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Comfort with home and community-based visits
Open-mindedness, cultural competence, and the ability to partner effectively with diverse families
Strong professionalism and organizational skills
Experience in early intervention or working with children birth to age three
Bilingual skills are a plus

Occupational Therapist Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Provide direct care and manage a caseload of infants and toddlers, implementing Individual Family Service Plans
Conduct home and community-based developmental evaluations using assessment tools
Collaborate with families and caregivers to address identified priorities
Facilitate small group sessions to support social-emotional development and provide parent education
Work as an integrated member of a transdisciplinary team to support positive outcomes for children and families
