Occupational Therapist Requirements & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with a valid Massachusetts OT license
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfort with home and community-based visits
- Open-mindedness, cultural competence, and the ability to partner effectively with diverse families
- Strong professionalism and organizational skills
- Experience in early intervention or working with children birth to age three
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Occupational Therapist Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and manage a caseload of infants and toddlers, implementing Individual Family Service Plans
- Conduct home and community-based developmental evaluations using assessment tools
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to address identified priorities
- Facilitate small group sessions to support social-emotional development and provide parent education
- Work as an integrated member of a transdisciplinary team to support positive outcomes for children and families
