Superintendent. Mission Critical
This role is built for a decisive, hands-on field leader who thrives in high-accountability environments where safety, precision, and schedule certainty are non-negotiable. You will serve as the primary on-site leader, coordinating crews, subcontractors, general contractors, and internal project teams to deliver mission-critical concrete scopes on time and to exacting standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will have full responsibility for field execution on mission-critical concrete projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Directing and managing all concrete field operations, including safety, production, quality, manpower, schedule, and cost control.
Upholding a strong safety culture and ensuring crews and subcontractors meet all training and certification requirements.
Overseeing complex concrete scopes including foundations, slabs, elevated decks, equipment pads, and structural concrete.
Coordinating daily manpower, equipment, and material needs to meet aggressive schedules.
Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, including three-week look-ahead plans.
Participating in preconstruction, pre-pour, and operational coordination meetings.
Serving as the primary on-site representative with owners, general contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
Supervising, training, and mentoring crews while maintaining consistent field standards.
Tracking labor, equipment, and material productivity and adjusting resources to maintain budget and schedule commitments.
Developing detailed pour plans including manpower, equipment, truck logistics, placement rates, and contingencies.
Maintaining accurate daily field documentation including reports, timekeeping, safety inspections, and quality records.
Communicating daily with Project Managers regarding production, challenges, and site conditions.
Supporting business development efforts through professional site presence and strong client relationships.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years of field construction experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a Superintendent or comparable leadership role.
Demonstrated experience on mission-critical or highly complex commercial projects, including data centers or critical infrastructure.
Strong technical knowledge of concrete construction means, methods, sequencing, and site logistics.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or nights as required by project demands.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
OSHA certification.
ACI or TCA certification.
Bilingual English and Spanish.
