Regional Director—Personal Insurance Sales—Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
A rapidly growing insurance organization is seeking a market growth leader to drive retention, expansion, and team performance across a major Texas market. This is an exceptional opportunity to immediately take ownership of a substantial book of business, shape local growth strategies, and develop into a strategic leadership role as the business scales.
Regional Director – Benefits & Compensation
- Immediate ownership of a $7M premium book with associated retention commission in year one, depending on retention results
- Equity participation for licensed employees, based on book size and growth
- Competitive base and commission structure with significant uncapped earning potential
- Clear pathway to expanded market or enterprise leadership

- Base Salary: $100,000 – $125,000. On target expections of $200,000+ in year one.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
- Minimum 7 years of insurance industry leadership experience
- Demonstrated success in market or regional leadership roles
- 3–7+ years of personal lines insurance sales experience with consistent high production
- Proven ability to generate $600,000–$1,200,000 in premium volume annually while maintaining quality and retention standards
- Strong working knowledge of Texas insurance regulations and market dynamics
- Experience managing or mentoring teams and multi-million dollar books of business
Preferred Background & Skills
- Prior player-coach, team lead, or mentorship experience
- Expertise in recruiting, onboarding, and developing sales talent
- Proficiency with CRM systems, pipeline and data management
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building sustainable systems and infrastructure
- Commitment to plain-language client education and trust-based team culture
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Own full market-level performance, including growth and retention targets
- Lead and coach a team of customer growth and success professionals
- Personally drive new business production while developing local strategies for expansion
- Build and nurture local partnerships and carrier relationships
- Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent, fostering accountability and support
- Ensure all activity is compliant with licensing, regulatory, and documentation requirements
- Model transparency, advocacy, and community empowerment in all client and team interactions
