Our client is looking for a Municipal Planner to join their growing team.

Municipal Planner Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary of $30-38/hr
Bonus potential
401k match
Comprehensive benefits package

Municipal Planner Responsibilities:

Support municipalities with current and long-range planning tasks
Assist private development projects through the entitlement process
Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies
Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently

Municipal Planner Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a planning-related field from an accredited university
4+ years of professional planning experience with municipalities or private clients (planning, technical studies, design)
Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA and permitting processes (local, CDFW, Coastal Commission, Army Corps, RWQCB)
Skilled in technical and grant writing, QA/QC, and report preparation
Strong municipal planning background
Strong research skills and use of agency websites and GIS platforms
Valid CA driver’s license
