Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production and service by following standardized recipes, portioning, presentation, quality checks, and required production/waste documentation.
  • Train and guide kitchen staff in food preparation, equipment use, safety, sanitation, and daily cleaning/maintenance procedures while maintaining proper inventory levels.
  • Support seasonal menu changes and participate in meetings and staff development while ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory safety standards.

Kitchen Manager Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, with strong culinary passion and a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences; highly organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen systems, processes, and operational execution, with strong attention to detail and professionalism; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: Formal culinary/hospitality education (AS/BS), proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with UltiPro, Toast POS, CrunchTime, and Teamworks.
  • Preferred certifications: ServSafe, Allergen, and ChokeSaver.
