Outside Sales Representative – Industrial & Welding Supply (Benton, AR)
Full-Time | Field Sales | Industrial / Welding / Safety Products
A privately owned distributor of industrial, specialty, and medical gases, welding equipment, and safety supplies is seeking an outgoing, energetic Outside Sales Representative for the Benton, AR area. This role focuses on growing business with metal fabrication shops and a wide range of industrial and commercial customers.
What You’ll Do
- Sell welding equipment, materials, and supplies to fabrication facilities and industrial customers
- Sell industrial, medical, and specialty gases to customers such as fab shops, restaurants, schools, hospitals, and farms
- Advise customers on tools, hardware, gases, and materials needed for their applications
- Demonstrate product use and explain quality, performance, and safety features
- Estimate quantities of gases, filler metals, and abrasives for specific jobs
- Sell safety apparel and equipment (goggles, helmets, hearing protection, welding jackets, etc.)
- Call on prospective and existing customers to grow territory sales and strengthen relationships
What You Need
- Strong communication and customer-facing sales skills
- Experience in industrial, welding, or related technical sales is a plus
- Basic understanding of welding, metalworking, or industrial processes preferred
- Self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable working in the field
- Ability to manage a territory, travel to customer sites, and build long-term relationships
