The Quality Engineer drives product and process excellence through technical expertise, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. The role ensures ISO 9001 compliance, continuous improvement, and alignment with the company’s core values, supporting manufacturing quality, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for production and finished goods.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone methods.
• Support production and engineering teams by analyzing process capabilities and driving improvements.
• Manage supplier quality issues, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions (CARs).
• Track and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and recommend preventive actions.
• Develop and update inspection plans, SOPs, and quality documentation in line with ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct and support internal and external quality audits.
• Train production staff on inspection techniques, quality standards, and compliance.
• Ensure product compliance with specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement aligned with company values of Safety, Quality, Integrity, and Teamwork.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• 3–5 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or power generation equipment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and auditing processes.
• Proficient in root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, mechanical inspection, and the use of precision measurement tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience a plus.
• Knowledge of welding, sheet metal, and electrical systems preferred.
• Must adhere to OSHA safety standards and work effectively in an industrial manufacturing environment.
