Director of Operations – Luxury Multi-Concept Hospitality Group

A distinguished international hospitality group known for its award-winning restaurants and elevated dining experiences is seeking an accomplished Director of Operations to oversee multiple high-volume venues. Overview

The Director of Operations will provide strategic leadership across multiple restaurant concepts, ensuring seamless execution, operational excellence, and a consistently exceptional guest experience. This role requires a highly skilled, hands-on leader capable of guiding a team of seasoned managers while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve ambitious financial and service goals.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success managing complex, multi-unit operations with significant revenue volume, a deep understanding of luxury service standards, and the ability to foster a culture of excellence across all departments. This position also requires the ability to travel nationally to support openings, site visits, and operational initiatives across various markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support multiple restaurant concepts from pre-opening through ongoing operations
  • Oversee general managers, sales directors, and department heads to ensure each venue meets brand, financial, and service standards
  • Drive concept inspiration, team engagement, and profitability across all venues
  • Collaborate with culinary and beverage leaders to deliver an exceptional, world-class food and beverage program
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with company goals
  • Maintain member and guest satisfaction at the highest level through attention to detail and personalized service
  • Oversee P&L management, forecasting, and budget control
  • Partner with marketing and PR teams to increase brand visibility and community engagement
  • Lead management meetings and performance reviews with a focus on accountability, development, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health, labor, and safety regulations
  • Travel nationally as needed to oversee operations, support new openings, and ensure brand consistency across markets

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Operations or equivalent senior-level role in multi-unit, high-end restaurant management
  • Forbes Service Standards training required
  • ·Michelin Restaurant experience required
  • Proven experience overseeing combined annual revenues of $20M+
  • Strong knowledge of FP&A, budgeting, and cost controls
  • Proficiency with hospitality management systems (Microsoft, Adobe, Resy, Upserve, TripleSeat, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
  • Michelin or Forbes-rated property experience required
  • Advanced food and beverage expertise with the ability to mentor senior leaders
  • Training in Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
  • Bilingual skills a plus but not required
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationally as business needs dictate
