A fast-growing hospitality group with multiple food & beverage concepts is seeking a detail-oriented, strategic Fractional Controller to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to shape financial processes and support scaling operations across a creative and dynamic hospitality portfolio.

Fractional Controller Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting or controller-level experience
  • Direct experience in hospitality, restaurant, or multi-unit F&B operations
  • Strong understanding of POS systems and how they integrate with accounting workflows
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and cloud-based accounting tools
  • Deep knowledge of accrual-based accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Must Haves:

  • Oversee weekly reconciliation of POS data, bank accounts, credit cards, and third-party delivery platforms
  • Maintain clean and organized books across multiple entities and concepts
  • Partner with the operations team to interpret weekly sales, labor, and cost reports
  • Manage vendor payments, AP/AR cycles, and ensure timely month-end close
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and offer actionable insights to ownership
  • Implement and refine systems to scale financial operations as the company grows

Fractional Controller Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience with restaurant groups, hospitality roll-ups, or multi-unit operations
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and restaurant POS systems
  • Experience working with external CPAs or auditors
  • Ability to build dashboards and reporting tools for non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving hospitality environment
