A fast-growing U.S. manufacturer is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations at its Houston-area facility. This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting a workforce of over 300 employees in a lean, high-growth environment.

Human Resources Manager – Benefits and Compensation

  • Salary range: $95,000 – $100,000

Human Resources Manager – Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. institution (Human Resources, Business, or related field)
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing payroll and benefits administration (ADP strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage healthcare and retirement/401(k) plans
  • Stable employment history (2+ years in each of the last few roles)
  • Must work onsite; candidates should live within 40 minutes of the Telge Road area in Houston
  • Spanish language skills strongly preferred (not required)

Human Resources Manager – Must Haves

  • Manage HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance
  • Oversee ADP payroll and administer benefits programs (healthcare, retirement, defined benefit, 401k)
  • Partner with staffing/employee leasing agencies to meet production staffing needs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on HR policies, employment law, and compliance issues
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Support workforce training and safety program initiatives
  • Improve and scale HR processes in alignment with company growth

Human Resources Manager – Preferred Background & Skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (highly preferred for communication with production staff)
  • Experience in fast-growing or lean manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with HR reporting, metrics, and workforce analytics
  • Background managing HR for teams with a high percentage of leased or temporary employees
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across all levels of the workforce
  • Comfortable operating as the primary HR lead in a stand-alone HR function
