Join our team as a Technical Buyer and play a critical role in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for high-performance equipment and technical projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment and excels at aligning procurement strategies with technical and operational needs.
Technical Buyer Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement efforts for specialized equipment based on engineering drawings and BOMs
- Can read engineering plans and understand that information being sent
- Evaluate, select, and manage suppliers to meet technical specifications and quality standards
- Oversee logistics, inventory control, and supplier performance metrics
- Negotiate pricing and terms for supply agreements
- Collaborate closely with engineering, finance, and operations to support business objectives
- Monitor quality compliance, coordinate inspections, and resolve field-related issues
Technical Buyer Requirements:
· 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
· Strong negotiation and contract management skills
· Excellent communication and analytical abilities
· Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics and technical procurement
· Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
