General Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of general management experience in a fast-paced restaurant, with a track record of leading diverse teams and driving hospitality
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to remain steady and focused under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable in response to varying circumstances/challenges
- Food safety mindset with ServSafe certification and any other required local certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in restaurant technology (POS systems, laptop/tablet use)
- Manual dexterity and ability to transport items up to 25 pounds
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences, addressing feedback and resolving concerns
- Ensure food safety standards are met and proactively manage equipment and facility maintenance
- Oversee daily administrative tasks and financial performance, driving key P&L metrics
- Cultivate an inclusive, positive work environment and hire, train, and develop team members
- Lead by example, providing hands-on support and continuous feedback to the team
- Build a culture that prioritizes food safety, quality, and hospitality
