Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality food and service
- Food ordering and controlling food costs
- Staff scheduling and controlling labor costs
- Ability to multitask and get things done efficiently as possible in a fast past environment
- Strong people manager that is outgoing and personable
- Hold staff and be self-accountable to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to develop a strong staff by continuously training and coaching
- Understands quality and helps uphold standards at all times
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- High-volume experience
- Experience in upscale casual or fine dining restaurants is required
- Culinary degree a plus but not required
