We are hiring a Sous Chef for our New Restaurant Opening in Charlotte.
Sous Chef Requirements and Qualifications:
- An associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in an upscale environment.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for creativity and innovation.
- Proven ability to assist in achieving sales targets and managing financials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Assist the Executive Chef and/or Executive Sous Chef in overseeing all culinary operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Ensure the execution of a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes and dietary needs.
- Collaborate in research and development (R&D) for new food offerings and seasonal menu updates that align with our financial goals and culinary vision
- Maintain equipment in proper working condition and coordinate repairs when necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety across the back of house
