Join a historic restaurant group in beautiful Sarasota, FL, as an Executive Sous Chef. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a concept known for its vibrant atmosphere, scratch kitchen, and commitment to high-quality ingredients.

Executive Sous Chef Benefits and Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary of $70,000–$80,000
  • Performance-based bonus

Executive Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of culinary leadership experience in a high-volume, upscale casual or fine dining environment
  • Strong skills in team development, staff training, and leading by example
  • Proven ability to maintain consistency and quality in a scratch kitchen setting
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management, food costing, and kitchen operations
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with high attention to detail

Executive Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Formal culinary education or relevant certifications
  • Experience with seasonal menu planning and vendor sourcing
  • Strong track record of promoting food safety and sanitation standards
  • Familiarity with kitchen software and inventory management tools (e.g., ChefTech, MarketMan)
