Position Overview

We are hiring a motivated and hands-on Field Service Technician to support our growing Industrial Furnace Division. This full-time role offers excellent benefits, a company-provided service vehicle, and opportunities for career advancement, based in the Dayton, OH, metro area.

Preferred Background & Skills

Start up, test, and debug control panels.
Wire machinery, run conduit, and assemble control panels.
Provide technical guidance to internal production teams.
Travel to customer sites for installations, troubleshooting, and service calls (5–8 days per month).
Assist with electrical and mechanical issues at company facilities.

Requirments & Qualifications

Associate Degree in Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).
Minimum 8+ years of experience with control panel design, assembly, and electrical wiring.
Strong troubleshooting skills in PLC systems, relay logic, and industrial equipment.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience with 240/480V single and 3-phase circuits.
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and valves.
Combustion system experience (preferred, but not required).
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for service calls.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
