Requirements & Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 1 year experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing Services in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
Strong working knowledge of long-term care regulations and compliance standards
Experience supporting restorative and rehabilitative nursing programs

Must Haves:

Partner closely with the Director of Nursing to implement and refine nursing policies and clinical practices
Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Align staffing resources with resident acuity and operational needs
Lead staff education, coaching, and performance oversight
Support survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance initiatives
Contribute to discharge planning and performance improvement efforts

Preferred Background & Skills:

Experience in high-quality skilled nursing or post-acute settings
Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, team-focused approach
Ability to balance clinical excellence with compassionate resident-centered care
Experience working collaboratively with physicians, families, and advocacy groups
