Director of Operations

An established restaurant group is seeking a strategic Director of Operations to oversee multiple full-service restaurant locations. This is an opportunity to join a respected brand during a dynamic phase of growth and transformation. Director of Operations Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Director of Operations or in senior multi-unit restaurant leadership
  • Demonstrated success overseeing at least 6–8 full-service restaurant locations
  • Significant P&L responsibility and the ability to coach leaders on financial performance
  • Expertise in managing both on-premise and off-premise (to-go, third-party delivery, catering) revenue channels
  • Strong communication and team alignment skills
  • Energetic, visible field leadership style, comfortable with regular travel and in-restaurant presence

Director of Operations Preferred Background & Skills

  • Track record leading brands or regions through stabilization, rebuild, or turnaround phases
  • Ability to architect repeatable systems for high-volume execution
  • Experience elevating and developing General Manager bench strength
  • Passion for creating a festive, guest-centric service culture

Director of Operations Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership and coaching to General Managers across a portfolio of restaurant locations
  • Ensure operational consistency and standards across all units and channels, including dine-in and large-scale off-premise
  • Analyze business performance, identify trends, and lead improvements in sales, labor, and profitability
  • Reinforce an energetic, high-service culture while prioritizing discipline and accountability
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive brand evolution and hit key operational targets
  • Develop talent and build a strong leadership pipeline within the market
