Executive Chef – Aspen, CO

Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an executive chef or senior culinary leader in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong foundation in Italian-American cuisine, with expertise in pizza and pasta
- Proven experience managing food costs, labor, and kitchen operations
- Ability to lead, train, and develop back-of-house staff
- Familiarity with DOH regulations and food safety compliance
Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience opening new restaurants or concepts
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable leading by example in a high-expectation, hands-on environment
Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead menu development and innovation, emphasizing seasonal ingredients and consistent execution
- Oversee all food preparation and kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and excellence in high-volume service
- Develop and maintain kitchen systems, prep standards, and workflows
- Manage food costs, labor controls, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with all health and food safety standards
- Hire, train, coach, and foster a positive, accountable kitchen culture
