General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Experience managing both front and back of house operations in a casual dining or scratch-cooking concept
Proven ability to manage the cost of goods and labor to achieve budget goals
Strong hiring, training, and team development skills
Solid understanding of P&L statements and achievement of operational KPIs
Energetic, positive, and outgoing leadership style

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Background in scratch-cooking restaurant concepts
Well-established relationships in the local community to drive catering and event sales
Track record of building and retaining high-performing teams

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee all daily restaurant operations for both front and back of house
Monitor and control costs to achieve budget targets
Hire, train, and mentor team members, developing future leaders
Engage actively on the floor to create a positive atmosphere for guests and staff
Build guest loyalty through excellent service and consistent delivery of standards
Cultivate community connections to grow sales and outreach
Communicate operational progress and results to company leadership
