Our client, a reputable wealth management and financial planning firm with more than 20 years in the Buffalo Grove and Chicago area, is seeking an experienced Lead Financial Planner / Service Advisor. The firm offers comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, and investment management services.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients
Lead and support financial planning and review meetings
Prepare comprehensive retirement income plans and financial projections
Develop investment portfolio summaries and asset allocation analyses
Utilize tax planning software to identify tax strategies and planning opportunities
Prepare annuity, life insurance, and long-term care illustrations
Collaborate with Lead Advisors and planning team within a pod structure
Manage follow-ups and maintain proactive client communication

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Financial Planner or Advisor
Series 65 or 66 required
CFP preferred (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
Life Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
Bachelor’s Degree required
Strong Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
