General Manager – Food & Beverage

Location: NYC | Upscale Hotel

A high-profile, full-service upscale hotel is seeking an experienced General Manager of Food & Beverage to lead and elevate their culinary and beverage operations.

About the Role:

The General Manager – Food & Beverage will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence, and profitability across multiple outlets. This role reports directly to the Hotel General Manager and requires a leader with a strong track record in upscale hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing F&B team across restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service.
  • Drive financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue generation.
  • Ensure the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to innovate menus, beverage programs, and guest experiences.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies, SOPs, and compliance standards.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in upscale hotel food & beverage or restaurant operations.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing multiple outlets or large-volume operations.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences while achieving financial goals.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Experience in upscale or high-profile hotel/restaurant environments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational strategy, staffing, and training programs.
