We are seeking a knowledgeable Fire Alarm Programmer to join our team. This role requires technical expertise in configuring and programming fire alarm control panels (FACP) and devices to ensure systems function as designed. The ideal candidate will have strong electronics skills, experience with specialized programming software, and the ability to work with a variety of fire alarm brands. Programmer- Responsibilities:

  • Write software or upload configurations into fire alarm control panels.
  • Map devices to specific zones or addresses for accurate alarm identification.
  • Set up logic for cause-and-effect sequences (e.g., smoke detector activation → alarm → elevator recall → fire door release).
  • Conduct functional testing to verify proper device response.
  • Update programs as systems are expanded or modified.

Programmer- Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of strong programming background in fire alarm system programming.
  • Proficiency with panel-specific programming software (Gamewell- FCI and Edwards EST3/4).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and configure complex systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
