Position: General Manager – Destination Farm & Hospitality Experience

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives where hospitality, operations, and guest experience intersect? We’re partnering with a fast-growing destination farm concept in the Nashville area that blends outdoor recreation, retail, agritainment, food & beverage, and family-friendly seasonal programming. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role with operational ownership and performance-based incentives.

What You’ll Oversee

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full ecosystem of a single-site operation, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and strong business performance. You’ll lead staff, direct daily programming, support seasonal attractions, manage vendors, oversee maintenance and safety systems, and ensure operational excellence year-round.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team focused on elevated hospitality, safety, and guest engagement
  • Oversee farm programming, food & beverage operations, retail inventory, and seasonal attractions
  • Manage P&L performance including labor planning, budgeting, and KPI tracking
  • Maintain vendor relationships and compliance with local/state/federal regulations
  • Ensure site safety, equipment functionality, and high-quality facility standards
  • Build operational playbooks and streamline seasonal processes
  • Champion a warm, memorable, family-first guest experience

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail, theme parks, agritourism, food & beverage, or entertainment venues
  • Strong people leadership skills with hiring, training, coaching, and team development experience
  • Experience managing high-volume operations with multiple moving parts
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on and present with the team
  • Strong communication, guest-facing confidence, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors, navigating variable environments, and managing seasonal business rhythms

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 45lbs and comfortably navigate large indoor/outdoor spaces
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work on-site
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and seasonal peak periods

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 base

Bonus: Performance-based incentive plan tied to property results

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, PTO, employee discounts, and flexible scheduling

Why This Role Is Unique

This opportunity is ideal for someone who loves operational leadership but doesn’t want a traditional restaurant, hotel, or retail setting. It’s a chance to help build an experience-driven environment where families make memories and where the GM plays a pivotal role shaping culture, service, and operational excellence.
