Commercial Landscape Safety Manager

Location: Office & Field-Based in Chicago Market | Flexible Schedule Needed

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and support company-wide safety initiatives. This role focuses on injury prevention, OSHA compliance, safety training, and fostering a strong safety culture across multiple job sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a strong safety culture
  • Develop and implement safety policies, programs, and training
  • Conduct job site safety inspections and audits
  • Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver safety meetings, toolbox talks, and weekly safety communications
  • Track safety metrics, incidents, and training records
  • Oversee PPE usage and compliance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of safety experience (field-based preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

  • Combination of office and field work
  • Exposure to outdoor conditions and active job sites
