Process Engineer – Chemical Manufacturing

📍 Chattanooga, TN area

We’re hiring a Process Engineer to support and improve chemical manufacturing operations at a well-established production site in the Chattanooga, TN area. This role is hands-on and plant-facing, focused on process optimization, troubleshooting, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Develop, optimize, and monitor chemical manufacturing processes
Identify inefficiencies and lead process improvements to improve quality, yield, and cost
Support scale-ups, experimental runs, and new product introductions
Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in collaboration with operations
Participate in HAZOPs, PHAs, MOCs, and safety reviews
Create process documentation, SOPs, and operating instructions
Support capital projects from design through startup

What We’re Looking For

BS in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline
Experience in chemical or regulated manufacturing environments
Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills
Hands-on, plant-based mindset with a strong safety focus
