Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities
- Design and optimize mechanical systems for a high-performance road vehicle
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop integrated solutions
- Use CAD tools to create detailed models, assemblies, and design iterations
- Support testing, validation, and refinement of mechanical components
- Contribute to ground-up system development with strong ownership of assigned hardware
- Identify engineering challenges and develop creative, practical solutions
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input across the vehicle program
Mechanical Engineer Qualifications
- 1–3 years of mechanical or aerospace engineering experience
- Proven success in engineering-related projects involving complex systems
- Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving ability with meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in engineering solutions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly technical startup environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
