One of our best clients in the luxury goods resale space is seeking a General Manager (Manager in Training) to step into an emerging leadership role that will grow into full operational oversight. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys working with people, and leads with positivity, organization, and accountability. You’ll work alongside a seasoned ownership team, learn the full store operation, and gradually take charge of scheduling, workflow, team leadership, customer service, and store performance.

Key General Manager Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Floor Management

  • Oversee scheduling and ensure all employees arrive on time and follow daily processes.
  • Keep team members engaged, productive, and focused throughout the day.
  • Lead by example—delivering exceptional customer service and reinforcing a positive, upbeat culture.
  • Coach employees, delegate tasks effectively, and manage varying personalities with a steady, professional demeanor.

Store Operations

  • Assist with daily register operations, phone handling, and end-of-day batching.
  • Learn and manage the Liberty POS system, including inventory management and consignor integration.
  • Maintain organization of the sales floor, ensuring proper staging, safeguarding, and presentation of luxury goods.
  • Support signing up new consignors and understanding the consignment process.

Customer Experience

  • Create an inviting, friendly, and energetic atmosphere for all customers.
  • Maintain discretion with consignors and client information.
  • Uphold the company's reputation as a trusted destination for luxury resale.

General Manager Position Details:

  • Location: Onsite – Naples, FL
  • Hours: 9am–5pm / Saturdays Required (Closed Sundays & Mondays)
  • Assignment Length: Permanent
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Compensation: $75K-85K per year

General Manager Skills & Requirements:

  • Tech-comfortable and able to learn Liberty POS and other inventory systems.

  • Always maintains discretion with consignors and customers.
  • Strong natural leader with a people-first management style.
  • Able to prioritize, stay calm, and “put out fires” while continuing to smile.
  • Retail or management experience preferred (but not required).
  • Must be comfortable with occasional overtime and Saturdays.
