THIS POSITION IS IN SONOMA, CA – RELOCATION TO SONOMA, CA IS REQUIRED

A high-volume, well-regarded fine dining restaurant in Sonoma is seeking an Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations. This confidential role will oversee multiple kitchens. We’re looking for a confident, organized leader with a fine dining background who can inspire their team, maintain exceptional quality, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing fine dining and high-volume kitchens (200–400+ covers nightly)
  • Experience overseeing multiple teams or kitchen locations
  • Ability to lead, train, and mentor Sous Chefs and cooks
  • Strong organizational skills and experience with kitchen systems and vendor management
  • Ability to maintain food costs and drive operational profitability
  • Clear, proactive communicator with FOH/BOH teams
  • Calm, collaborative leadership style under pressure
  • Experience creating staffing schedules and conducting staff reviews with written feedback
  • Ability to manage vendor accounts and ensure timely payments

Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in elevated, seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Track record of building inclusive, collaborative kitchen cultures
  • Ability to streamline operations and consolidate teams for efficiency
  • Experience balancing creativity with operational execution at scale
