Digital Media Strategist Requirements & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in digital media, paid search, ecommerce, or online marketplace advertising.
- Strong understanding of Amazon retail media, marketplace strategy, and the broader ecommerce landscape.
- Experience with media tools such as CM360, Datorama, or similar analytics/reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, and retail media management platforms (Pacvue, Skai, Perpetua, CommerceIQ, Teikametrics, etc.).
- Amazon Advertising certifications (Foundations, Sponsored Ads, Optimization, Video) strongly preferred.
Digital Media Strategist Preferred Background & Skills
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic actions.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
- Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a passion for digital innovation.
Digital Media Strategist Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Amazon retail media strategies to drive revenue and marketplace visibility.
- Oversee end-to-end campaign setup, optimization, and reporting for Sponsored Ads (Products, Brands, Video, Display).
- Manage daily performance, pacing, budget alignment, and KPI improvements.
- Build and optimize keyword strategies, targeting frameworks, and audience segments.
- Partner with ecommerce, inventory planning, analytics, creative, and content teams to ensure aligned execution.
- Track KPIs such as ROAS, CPC, CTR, NTB customers, and share of voice.
