As we expand, we are seeking a Finance Attorney Partner to lead and shape our finance practice from the ground up.

Role Overview

As a Finance Attorney Partner, you will:

• Establish and grow the firm’s finance practice, focusing on banking, lending, structured finance, and capital markets.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex financial transactions and regulatory challenges.
• Collaborate with fellow partners to define the firm’s culture, strategy, and long-term vision.
• Mentor associates and help build a high-performing team.
• Drive business development, bringing in new clients and expanding relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, borrowers, and financial institutions in sophisticated deals.
• Draft, negotiate, and review financing agreements, credit facilities, and security documents.
• Provide counsel on regulatory and compliance issues impacting financial services.
• Contribute to firm leadership decisions and help shape our identity as a new player in the market.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in [State].
• 5+ years of finance law experience, with a proven track record in transactional work.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for building a practice within a new firm.
• Established client base or strong business development skills.
• Leadership ability and a collaborative spirit.
