Our mission is to build a modern, client-focused practice that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and excellence. As we expand, we are seeking a Finance Attorney Partner to lead and shape our finance practice from the ground up.
Role Overview
As a Finance Attorney Partner, you will:
- Establish and grow the firm’s finance practice, focusing on banking, lending, structured finance, and capital markets.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex financial transactions and regulatory challenges.
- Collaborate with fellow partners to define the firm’s culture, strategy, and long-term vision.
- Mentor associates and help build a high-performing team.
- Drive business development, bringing in new clients and expanding relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent lenders, borrowers, and financial institutions in sophisticated deals.
- Draft, negotiate, and review financing agreements, credit facilities, and security documents.
- Provide counsel on regulatory and compliance issues impacting financial services.
- Contribute to firm leadership decisions and help shape our identity as a new player in the market.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in [State].
- 5+ years of finance law experience, with a proven track record in transactional work.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for building a practice within a new firm.
- Established client base or strong business development skills.
- Leadership ability and a collaborative spirit.
