Regional Sales Manager – Lead From the Front, Not From a Desk
Are you the kind of leader who’s just as comfortable jumping in the truck, riding with your reps, fixing a merch setup, or swapping out signage as you are running a team meeting? If so, you may be exactly the hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves Regional Sales Manager we’re looking for. Our long-standing, family-driven consumer goods/distribution company needs a field-focused leader to guide 20–25 territory reps and another 10 internal sales staff across the Southeast.
What You’ll Do
- Ride along with reps 3+ days per week to coach, develop, and support real-time execution
- Lead from the front — teach, motivate, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with your team
- Assist with resets, signage swaps, merchandising fixes, and high-priority customer visits
- Roll up your sleeves during peak seasons (summer, 4th of July, Super Bowl, etc.)
- Grow territories through new installations and improved execution in existing accounts
- Manage performance and accountability across a large, multi-state sales region
What You Bring
- 3+ years of sales management experience
- Background in grocery, convenience, retail, vending, DSD, or CPG
- Ability to travel around 100 days per year
- A humble, servant-leader mentality — someone who leads by example
- Strong communication and coaching skills with a talent for inspiring teams
