Chief Financial Officer
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial, accounting, reporting, and regulatory functions for a well-established community bank. This hands-on executive will serve as the bank’s top financial authority, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial leadership while partnering closely with the CEO, COO, Senior Management, and the Board of Directors.

Chief Financial Officer Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business (required).
- CPA.
- 10+ years of financial leadership experience in a bank or financial institution.
- Prior experience as a CFO in a sub-$1B financial institution.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, banking regulations, ALM, investments, and regulatory reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for Board, auditors, and examiners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Chief Financial Officer Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Direct all financial and accounting operations; lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare and submit all regulatory reports (FFIEC Call Report, FRB, State).
- Manage investment portfolio accounting and provide investment recommendations aligned with ALM and liquidity needs.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and performance analysis.
- Chair the ALCO Committee and provide strategic interest rate risk guidance.
- Oversee annual financial statement audits and 401(k) plan audit; prepare supporting schedules.
- Manage tax payments, filings, and coordination of corporate tax return preparation.
- Oversee internal audit activities and coordinate with examiners during OCC examinations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Accounting/Finance team.
- Provide clear, concise financial presentations to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
