🔹 Account Executive – Digital Assets / Crypto Practice
Location: Denver, CO (preferred) or Remote – U.S.
Compensation: $130,000 – $200,000 base + annual performance bonus + equity eligibility
About the Opportunity
An employee-owned, nationally recognized insurance brokerage is seeking a driven Account Executive to join its Digital Assets Practice, a specialized team supporting clients across blockchain, cryptocurrency, fintech, and digital infrastructure sectors.
You’ll partner with innovative companies in one of the most complex, fast-evolving markets — delivering tailored insurance programs that address regulatory uncertainty, custody and cyber risks, and the unique exposures of digital financial systems.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a portfolio of sophisticated accounts across digital asset and crypto sectors.
- Lead renewal strategies, placement, and coverage design for complex programs.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with carriers and underwriting partners specializing in emerging financial technologies.
- Advise clients on risk management frameworks, compliance issues, and insurance market dynamics.
- Support business development initiatives and new client acquisition.
- Mentor and collaborate with internal teams to strengthen technical expertise.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience managing large/complex commercial insurance accounts ($100K+ in revenue).
- Subject matter expertise or strong interest in digital assets, blockchain, or fintech.
- Demonstrated success advising clients with complex regulatory or technical risk exposures.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Applied Epic experience preferred
- Current P&C license required; Professional designations (ARM, CPCU, or similar) preferred.
