Event Manager at Full-Service Hotel & Conference Property

Location: Baltimore

Employment Type: Full-time | On-site

A leading full-service hotel and convention property is seeking an Event Manager to join its dynamic Catering & Events team. This role manages meetings, banquets, and social functions from planning through post-event review, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional guest experiences.

About the Property:

This large convention hotel features 700+ guestrooms and over 100,000 square feet of event space, hosting high-profile corporate, association, and social programs year-round.

What You’ll Do

Serve as the primary client contact for assigned events.
Coordinate event details, BEOs, and logistics with Sales, Culinary, and Operations teams.
Communicate clearly with clients and internal departments to ensure seamless service.
Identify upsell opportunities and deliver creative event enhancements.
Support Senior Event Managers and the Director of Catering & Events as needed.

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years of hotel event management or catering experience.
Strong organizational and client-service skills with attention to detail.
Comfortable managing multiple programs simultaneously.
Experience with event systems (Delphi, CI/TY, or similar) preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or CMP certification a plus.

Schedule

Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility for early mornings or evenings as needed.
