Event Manager at Full-Service Hotel & Conference Property
Location: Baltimore

A leading full-service hotel and convention property is seeking an Event Manager to join its dynamic Catering & Events team. This role manages meetings, banquets, and social functions from planning through post-event review, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
About the Property:
This large convention hotel features 700+ guestrooms and over 100,000 square feet of event space, hosting high-profile corporate, association, and social programs year-round.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary client contact for assigned events.
- Coordinate event details, BEOs, and logistics with Sales, Culinary, and Operations teams.
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal departments to ensure seamless service.
- Identify upsell opportunities and deliver creative event enhancements.
- Support Senior Event Managers and the Director of Catering & Events as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of hotel event management or catering experience.
- Strong organizational and client-service skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple programs simultaneously.
- Experience with event systems (Delphi, CI/TY, or similar) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or CMP certification a plus.
Schedule
- Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility for early mornings or evenings as needed.
