Seeking a seasoned Employment & Labor Attorney to join a global law firm known for its innovation, teamwork, and forward-thinking approach. Employment & Labor Attorney Benefits and Compensation:

Employment & Labor Attorney Requirements & Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the California Bar, or eligible to waive in
  • 7–8 years of experience practicing labor and employment law
  • Proven experience in California employment litigation, advice, and counseling
  • Demonstrated experience with wage and hour class actions and PAGA claims
  • Must be based within driving distance to Los Angeles or willing to relocate

Employment & Labor Attorney Must Haves:

  • Perform legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and dispositive filings
  • Draft and respond to discovery and meet-and-confer correspondence
  • Defend clients in individual and class action wage and hour and PAGA claims in court and arbitration
  • Handle government investigations and agency responses
  • Advise clients on California employment laws, compliance issues, and workplace policies
  • Draft and review employment agreements, severance agreements, and handbooks
  • Provide direct counseling and support to clients on complex employment matters

Employment & Labor Attorney Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Prior trial experience or substantial motion and deposition practice
  • Strong knowledge of California Labor Code, FEHA, PAGA, and related statutes
  • Familiarity with drafting employment manuals and compliance documentation
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills
  • Excellent judgment and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
  • High attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
