Civil Litigation Attorney Benefits & Compensation

• Required billable hours: 1750 hours for years 0-3, 1700 hours for years 4-5, and 1650-1700 hours for years 6+.

Civil Litigation Attorney Requirements & Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in business, corporate, or employment law.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission and good standing with the State of California Bar.
• Strong writing and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads.

Civil Litigation Attorney Preferred Background & Skills

• Trial experience is preferred but not required.
• Graduates from respected law schools such as USC, UCLA, Loyola, UC, or Pepperdine are highly regarded.
• Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a dynamic environment.

Civil Litigation Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Handle motions, discovery, and prepare pleadings for various cases.
• Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring high-quality legal work.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
• Maintain organized documentation and adhere to deadlines.
• Produce clear and concise written materials for court submissions and client communications.
