Retail Sales Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of retail sales management experience
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed monthly sales revenue and margin goals
  • Demonstrated success coaching, training, and motivating sales teams
  • Ability to manage showroom inventory, ensure visual merchandising standards, and maintain a customer-ready environment
  • Skilled in analyzing sales reports, reviewing orders for accuracy, and overseeing operational metrics
  • Capable of building customer retention, managing lead follow-up systems, and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Experience collaborating with corporate and cross-functional teams to support strategic objectives
  • Knowledge of industry trends, promotions, and competitor activity

Retail Sales Manager Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, inventory software, or retail management tools
  • Strong leadership presence, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to inspire high performance within a team
