Goodwin Recruiting is partnering with an established, highly respected organization in the Palmetto area to find an experienced Bilingual Line Cook (English/Spanish) for an exciting new food truck concept!

This is not your typical line cook opportunity. You'll be part of launching a brand-new, 36-foot food truck featuring Hispanic-inspired cuisine, working alongside a dedicated food truck manager to deliver exceptional food and memorable guest experiences.

We're looking for someone who brings culinary talent, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality. If you enjoy preparing great food, connecting with guests, and being part of a collaborative team, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook fresh, flavorful menu items while maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
• Work alongside the Food Truck Manager to support daily operations and menu development.
• Provide exceptional, friendly customer service to guests at all levels of the organization.
• Take orders, process transactions, and serve food and beverages.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment.
• Assist with food preparation, inventory, stocking, opening, and closing procedures.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, close-knit kitchen environment.
• Support special events and catering functions as needed.
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm as the new food truck concept grows.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of professional cooking experience in a restaurant and/or food truck environment (fast-food-only experience does not qualify).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Strong cooking fundamentals and knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for exceptional customer service.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain quality during busy service periods.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively in a small kitchen environment.
• Dependability, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
• Experience preparing Hispanic or Latin-inspired cuisine is a plus.
