Assistant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of assistant manager or comparable leadership experience in a fine dining setting
Proven experience managing annual sales of $8M or more
Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
Deep passion for hospitality, food, and crafting unforgettable guest experiences
Strong floor presence and an “ownership” mentality

Assistant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Oversee daily front-of-house operations with a focus on delivering consistent quality and service
Lead and manage staff scheduling, floor supervision, and guest satisfaction initiatives
Partner with the general manager to ensure seamless, guest-centered operations
Uphold standards, implement effective systems, and foster accountability across the team
Monitor and control costs related to labor and day-to-day operations
Respond decisively and positively to daily challenges, always seeking proactive solutions
