Food & Beverage Director Requirements & Qualifications

At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field,
Proficiency in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing applications
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Experience with financial operations, budgeting, labor controls, and forecasting
Ability to handle confidential information and maintain a high level of trust

Food & Beverage Director Preferred Background & Skills

Knowledge of local market competition and industry trends
Experience coordinating with multiple hotel departments
Familiarity with cost-control strategies and process optimization

Food & Beverage Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all food and beverage outlets, ensuring attentive, friendly, and efficient service
Oversee kitchen operations, outlet management, banquet services, and in-room dining
Ensure safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of all service and kitchen areas
Guide culinary and service teams on menu development, pricing, and merchandising
Drive sales revenue, control costs, and improve overall profitability
Foster a positive work environment focused on growth, open communication, and team development
Build trust with guests and staff, upholding the organization’s reputation and standards
