The Training and Development Manager is responsible for creating, monitoring, and supporting training programs for our Hotel and restaurant properties. In addition, in partnership with Human Resources and department leaders, they set performance metrics, evaluate productivity, and help employees create long-term career plans within our organization. They provide authentic, impactful coaching, direction, and support to all levels. The ideal candidate will lead and deliver a Five-star, Five-diamond experience to all guests.
Manager of Training and Development Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources & Training and Development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in recruiting a variety of hotel and restaurant positions.
- Knowledge of impeccable standards, including familiarity with Forbes and Michelin Red Guides.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, email, calendars.
- Positive energy with a professional demeanor.
Manager of Training and Development Responsibilities:
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Operations and leadership training.
- Develop and implement an annual training budget.
- Support new projects and concept openings.
- Attend and present at job fairs, as well as participate in community outreach initiatives with schools.
- Provide support for training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops, ServSafe classes, TIPS classes, and other areas of development.
