What You’ll Do:

Represent clients in Virginia General District Court matters, including contract disputes, landlord/tenant cases, real estate disputes, and other civil litigation
Draft, edit, and review legal documents, pleadings, and contracts
Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide guidance, and develop effective legal strategies
Conduct residential real estate closings
Prepare estate plans, business agreements, and other transactional documents
Stay current on legislation relevant to practice areas
Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies while exercising independent judgment

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the Virginia Bar, or pending bar admission (third-year practice certificate required if pending)
Prior experience with General District Court preferred; Circuit Court exposure is a plus.
Confidence in decision-making and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to high ethical standards, professionalism, and teamwork
Desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative legal culture
