Banquet Chef – Luxury Private Club
- Lead all banquet culinary operations, delivering exceptional, high-end dining experiences for weddings, galas, member events, and private functions
- Design and execute seasonal, creative menus aligned with luxury standards and member expectations
- Collaborate closely with event sales, catering, and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Oversee food production for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions (500+ guests)
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, consistency, and timing
- Manage, train, coach, and develop a high-performing culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Ensure proper staffing levels based on event volume and complexity
- Control food, labor, and operational costs while maintaining premium quality standards
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Oversee ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships, prioritizing high-quality and seasonal ingredients
- Develop standardized recipes, plating guides, and production systems to ensure consistency
- Participate in tastings with members and clients, customizing menus to meet specific preferences and dietary needs
- Drive innovation and continuously elevate the banquet culinary program
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of banquet or high-volume culinary leadership experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or private clubs
- Proven ability to execute large-scale, high-end events with precision
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Deep understanding of food cost control, labor management, and kitchen operations
- Passion for hospitality, creativity, and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Culinary degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
