Luxury Hotel Director of Sales Benefits

Luxury Hotel Director of Sales Qualifications
- Director-level sales leadership experience (5+ years managing small teams)
- Full-service, lifestyle, or luxury hotel sales background (Limited-service or extended-stay experience will not be considered)
- Strong group, conference services, and event sales expertise
- Experience working within a branded hotel environment and building SOPs
- Proven ability to build or improve sales infrastructure and systems
- Deep understanding of REVPAR strategy, competitive analysis, and mix management
- High emotional intelligence and flexible leadership style
- Ability to function autonomously while collaborating across departments
- Willingness to be fully on-site and hands-on
Luxury Hotel Director of Sales Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed topline revenue goals
- Carry and close an individual sales goal
- Direct all group, corporate, banquet, and transient sales activities
- Develop and execute the annual Sales & Marketing Business Plan
- Build SOPs, reporting cadence, and structured sales processes
- Partner with Revenue Management to maximize REVPAR and market share
- Coach, develop, and hold accountable a small sales team
- Represent the property at industry events, trade shows, and ownership meetings
- Serve as a visible ambassador of the hotel’s mission and community impact
