We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen at a high-volume, upscale restaurant in South Florida. This is an opportunity to join an established restaurant group at a premier dining destination known for strong revenue performance and high standards of quality and service. The ideal candidate is an exceptional culinary leader with a passion for excellence, team development, and operational execution, who will collaborate closely with senior leadership and ownership.
What You'll Do
- Lead all back-of-house operations for a high-volume upscale restaurant
- Create and execute innovative seasonal dishes with creativity and finesse
- Manage and develop a strong kitchen team through coaching and mentorship
- Oversee P&L, food costs, and labor management
- Participate in guest interactions, wine dinners, and special events
- Maintain exceptional execution during service, including expo and timing
- Collaborate with restaurant leadership on menu development and operational goals
- Represent the restaurant professionally in media interactions and public-facing situations
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years as Executive Chef in upscale restaurants
- Culinary-driven with creativity, passion, and attention to detail
- Proven track record managing high-volume operations
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Comfortable in high-profile environments with media exposure
- Comfortable with guest interaction and public-facing events
- Stable work history with long-term commitment
- Bilingual preferred – Spanish/English
