Billing Specialist – Oncology

Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Onsite)

Compensation: $21–$25/hour + Bonus + Full Benefits

A growing proton therapy and oncology treatment center in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join its in-house revenue cycle team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a specialized healthcare environment handling high-dollar oncology claims while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit and manage medical claims for Medicare and commercial payers

• Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals

• Work accounts receivable and ensure timely reimbursement

• Prepare written appeals and resolve billing discrepancies

• Maintain accurate documentation and billing compliance

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve claim issues

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of medical billing or revenue cycle experience required

• Experience with denial management and accounts receivable follow-up

• Oncology, radiation oncology, or specialty billing experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of Medicare and insurance billing processes

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
