Now Hiring: General Manager – Food & Beverage Operations

Washington, DC – Capitol Hill

An upscale, high-volume hospitality operation located in Washington DC, is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager / F&B Director to oversee full Food & Beverage operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving performance across multiple outlets within a luxury hotel environment, including a high-profile free-standing restaurant and a robust banquet and events program.

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in both structured hotel environments and chef-driven restaurant settings.


What You’ll Oversee

  • Full F&B operations within a luxury hotel setting
  • Standalone, high-volume restaurant operations
  • Banquets, catering, and private events (including large-scale functions and VIP programming)
  • Multiple revenue centers: restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and banquet operations
  • Financial performance, full P&L accountability, forecasting, and revenue growth
  • Guest experience strategy and service culture development
  • Team recruitment, training, and leadership development
  • Collaboration with hotel executive leadership and ownership

Ideal Background

  • Proven General Manager or Director-level experience in a luxury or upscale hotel F&B environment
  • A background in a free-standing, high-volume restaurant a plus
  • Extensive banquet and events leadership experience
  • Experience managing multiple revenue streams simultaneously
  • Deep understanding of food, beverage, wine, and service standards
  • Strong financial acumen with cost controls and labor management expertise
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130,000 – $140,000
