Now Hiring: General Manager – Food & Beverage Operations

Washington, DC – Capitol Hill

An upscale, high-volume hospitality operation located in Washington DC, is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager / F&B Director to oversee full Food & Beverage operations. This leadership role is responsible for driving performance across multiple outlets within a luxury hotel environment, including a high-profile free-standing restaurant and a robust banquet and events program.

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in both structured hotel environments and chef-driven restaurant settings.

What You’ll Oversee

Full F&B operations within a luxury hotel setting
Standalone, high-volume restaurant operations
Banquets, catering, and private events (including large-scale functions and VIP programming)
Multiple revenue centers: restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and banquet operations
Financial performance, full P&L accountability, forecasting, and revenue growth
Guest experience strategy and service culture development
Team recruitment, training, and leadership development
Collaboration with hotel executive leadership and ownership

Ideal Background

Proven General Manager or Director-level experience in a luxury or upscale hotel F&B environment
A background in a free-standing, high-volume restaurant a plus
Extensive banquet and events leadership experience
Experience managing multiple revenue streams simultaneously
Deep understanding of food, beverage, wine, and service standards
Strong financial acumen with cost controls and labor management expertise
Track record of building and leading high-performing teams

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $130,000 – $140,000
