🌿 Account Manager – Commercial Landscaping

We’re looking for a motivated Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for our commercial landscaping clients. In this role, you’ll own customer relationships from day one—ensuring service excellence, identifying growth opportunities, and partnering closely with operations to deliver results that keep clients coming back year after year.

💼 What You’ll Do
Customer Experience & Retention
- Act as the main contact for assigned accounts, conducting site walk-throughs and formal client meetings
- Resolve issues quickly and professionally to achieve 90%+ annual account renewals
- Build long-term, trusted client relationships through proactive communication
Sales & Account Growth
- Grow existing accounts and secure new work to help meet branch revenue goals
- Identify upsell and enhancement opportunities within current portfolios
- Prepare accurate estimates, take-offs, proposals, and contracts
Business Development
- Sell services while maintaining acceptable gross margins
- Support branch growth initiatives through strategic account expansion
Operations Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Production Team and Branch Manager to exceed customer expectations
- Ensure seamless communication between clients and operations
Administrative & Reporting
- Prepare sales reports, estimates, contracts, enhancements, and assist with accounts receivable
- Maintain organized, timely, and accurate documentation
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a horticulture or landscaping-related field
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with computers and standard office software
- Working knowledge of basic accounting and general business principles
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required
🧠 Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Combination of office and field work using standard office equipment
- Regular walking, standing, bending, reaching, and site visits
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Flexible schedule required to meet customer and business needs
